Anybody go last night ?
It was...
Amazing.
Packed.
Crazy
Girls Dancing on the bar
Like the Sunday nights used to be back in the day.
They played everything, some of it a little rusty, but it added to the fun.
The were on fire most of the time tho'. Pure Genius.

I think the owners are making a bad decision changing the Lava.
After 13 years of wear and tear the place really looked and felt like a classic Tiki Lounge that had been around since the 50's.
I think they did it perfectly...the decor, the bar, everything.
I can't believe it's over.
Why don't people know when to leave well enough alone?
Maybe they weren't pulling the numbers they used to, but every time I've been there they have people in the place.
I even played there once, and it was slow, but still there was a crowd.
At least i got to enjoy it before it turned into another stupid Hollywood hipster bar for people too young and clueless to know any better.
Where are the Blue Hawaiians going to play when they come out of the woodwork every few months if not the Lava ?

Oh well...it was a great night.
If anyone in here went and took pics (I stupidly forgot my camera) , please post them in here.
