Hi Guys
Here's something i thought I'd share with you. On a recent trip to a Gem fair I spotted and purchased this. It's an Inland Lapidary Combination Saw/Grinder/Lap machine.
I'm not too good at the engineering stuff and for a while have been pondering aquiring something that will allow me to take small pieces of rough stone and fashion them prior to micromotor stage.
It came with diamond saw, when you flip the motor from horizontal to vertical, change the top it becomes a flat lap with 6" wheel (grits from 170 to 1200) and also a 1" grinding arbour (1/8th to 3/8ths also available) and has it's own water reservoir/feed.
It's probably not for you pro's but having used it I am extremely impressed (less than an hour from small slab to a ground pendant (1200 grit).

It's an American machine available with discount from ebay

Cheers all
Flynny
