I'm Scott, from the Boston, MA area. I'm a lover of rums, and started researching good rums a few years ago and have amassed a good bit of knowledge so far. Of course, I'm always looking for more. I very recently "rediscovered" tiki drinks and have been researching and concocting my old favorite, the Mai Tai, for the last few weeks. 20 Mai Tais later and I still haven't found the perfect recipe - I'm close, but have yet to find the correct rum pairing. It's a tough job, but I'll keep trying. I'm glad to be here, and very glad to find a good group of knowledgable devotees.
