The starfish, who was a good friend of the seahorse, was aghast at the vicious cruelty of the shrimp who had impaled the seahorse with a steel beam ( the starfish thought the shrimp was probably dishonest as to his true motivations for the surprisingly brutal attack ) and so the starfish doused the shrimp with gas and set him ablaze to die a slow and very painful death.
