I recently got an LCD monitor with my new PC, after many years of a CRT. I notice now, however, that all of my Windows media video files and QuickTime movies are playing back very very darkly. When I adjust the brightness in Media Player, it helps, but it screws up the contrast. Is there some setting somewhere that will help with this? Is this a common problem? Please help- I can't watch my dalek porn collection anymore.
