GROG worked with Cindy in Texas. She played stand-up base in a Rockabilly band called the Flametrick Subs. That's what GROG alluding to in GROG' Elviki cartoon.
I know...that's where i met her..playing with the subs at the black cat bar in austin during the south by southwest music fest 100 years ago.....i read about her and elviki first in tiki news prior to going...i purposely sought her out to talk about doing the elviki project....turns out she was a fan of my art and actually bought one of my custom lamps in chicago before she even met me....maybe you saw it..it was a bowling pin lamp with a car, a bowling sign and vintage shade....the flametrick subs were great too!! got the c.d......
