Arrrrgggghhhhh!!!!!! I have to say something, I can't hold it in anymore! It is like watching someone eat with their mouth open.... You can only take is so long.

Protecting your right of ownership for your artwork is called Copyright. It means literally the Right to Copy.

Please, for the sake of my sanity (what little there is) please call things by what they really are.....

Your art is protected by Copyright...
You own the Copyright.... You sell the Copyright... You retain Copyright....
Something was, is, or will be Copyrighted...
I own several Copyrights...

Please strike the following from your vocabulary: Copywritten, Copywrote, Copyrighting, etc...

For those of you who are art creators, please go through the trouble to register your work with the Copyright Office. It can make all the difference when you find your art in unexpected places from unexpected sources.

For those of you who are going to use something you found, ask first. If nothing else it is polite.

OK. thank you. Sorry for the rant.... I feel much better now and the Mai-tai is starting too kick in....

Carry on with whaterver you were discussing.
