First, A mini torch. And Amber shellac. My wife got me this torch for xmas and I have not used it in the kitchen yet. Its great for lamps though. Practice on scrap wood/ bamboo. Just a light burn. Then shellac. the last pic shows wangi bamboo. #1 no burn/ shelac. #2 just burn. #3 just shelac. #4 burn And shellac perfect! See how the nodes pop. Plus makes it look old.
