JohnnyP - Where izzit? Where iz what? You mean the swordy bills? They're here, some are all scratched and inked up with whaling scenes and all sorts of other Yankee Folk Art kinda stuff. The scrimshaw no tiki so you no peekee!!!!

Mr&Mrs BPH - Thank you for the flattering comment. I'm glad you like him. I do too :D

Tiki Shark Art - Thanks man, I tried to get a lot of movement in him - not the easiest thing to do when you have to work within the confines of a knotted-up irregular log. I try to use the irregularities to my advantage. His expression is basically what I see every time I look in the mirror!

Tikigap - More updates and pics? For you, I can do that.

Here is one Ive been chipping at. I shifted my work hours and now I am home earlier in the afternoon. Getting home between 7:00 and 8:00 was getting old. Now I can be home in time to get a few hours of work in before dark. The weather was perfect today - too hot in the sun, but the shade was choice! I spent 3 plus hours chipping away at this figure carving tonight. He's a big boy and I have a lot of wood to remove. I imagine I'll be working on him for quite a while still. I have some neat ideas for him and I can't wait to get further along.

Anyhow, here are some pics from tonight...

Thanks for looking,

Gman
