During my Navy days I too visited Raffles, it was quite dead in there but beautifully architectured. At least I saw the Sing sling's birthplace. Anybody else been to Penang Malaysia? Just a little ways from Singapore and lotsah tiki shirts and good batik cloth. No tiki bars though. |
