Looks like an interesting book. Another book, with a similar topic, is 'Delivering Views: Distant Cultures in Early Postcards' by Christraud Geary. This book has a 30 page chapter on the photographers and postcards in the Pacific Islands. I haven't read this book yet, but the images are quite good. Vern |
