Next shellac the whole chair. Even the parts that will be covered with binder cane.
This will help keep water/mold out. And give it a nice glow.



This is the binder cane. ie rattan. This is the skin on kind.
Some may have this skin taken off. I used one hank for this chair.
It cost about $22.00 for the cane.

Now you need to soak the binder cane in water. Put some liquid soap in the water to
help the cane stay limp while you work it. You better work it girl.
