A new battery was $200.00 which I didn't get and so the laptop only works when it's plugged in. Kind of cuts down on the portability and mobility thing. Then I lost the power cord for about a month. I had some files that I needed to do my income taxes and they were only on the laptop and I couldn't access them without power. So, I said I'll just go over to Best Buy and get a new cord for $20.00. Only the $20.00 cord was like $160.00 or something like that. With renewed purpose I did some ransacking at home and found the wayward cord. Maybe it's time for both of us to get a new laptop?
