I think this program is great and has traditionally been very popular around Alameda. It started here around the time I left 15 years ago. But I've noticed liberated books around from time to time this go around living here. Can't say the same for Mountain View...still love it though. :wink: While in Mountain View, I donated my copious amounts of books to the library. Figured it was probably underfunded and wanted to help in any way possible. At one point we had a home "library", literally room full of filled bookshelves wall to wall. Scary. Ahhh...only to replace that collection with Tiki Mugs. :wink:
