Wi'i Akua's first carving... - Tiki Carving

I saw a slide in an art history class in uni and wanted to know what one looked like in person. I couldn't afford to go see any of the three extant Ki'i Akua, so I humbly decided to try to make one. So, here's Kuka'ilimoku. What do you guys think? The one with my big face is for scale...I am six five or so, so I reckon Ku's about 7 foot. He is heavy. Oh, before I forget...you guys rock! I have been lurking for a couple days and finally got the courage up to post my ki'i...it took a while to get the courage because so many of you do such fantastic work! Aloha!
