(Stage 1 appears earlier in this thread.) It is still somewhat dirty from the carving process but I would appreciate any input before I proceed to the final stage of carving. You will note that I was a bit careless in placing some of the drill holes representing the eyebrows, etc; and the drill bit drifted a bit in places. And, the nose needs a little more work. I will be adding teeth (a surprise) and a little appropriate enamel to reveal teh tiki's true character. The texture of the stone surface shows the individual cells within the whale bone. Yes . . . I checked it out and the smoke from the incense does come out of the eyes while burning. Thanks for your input and help, Timid
