I'm one of those for whom Kelbo's (both on Pico Boulevard and Fairfax Avenue in L.A.) were the highlights of my after-work hours for over 20 years. I still yearn; nothing comes close. I remember the "Grand Re-opening" of the Pico location when all the gorgeous decs (made in their own shop) had been newly installed, and the place was one of enchantment. What a night! What a line out! What an absolutely gorgeous place and delicious ribs! What incredible drinks! It's long gone now, but there's still the Tiki-Ti (I can't go in because I can't take all the smoke). God how I wish we'd had digital cameras then! Anyway, that's me in short, and I hope to meet many more of you! AB (ArchiesBoy)
