I got this mask a couple of years ago from a friend of my wife, and was told it was a gift to her father from his friend, a GI back from service in Hawaii. I got it for less than 50 bucks, so I didn't think it was that old. After I got home, and some closer inspection, I noticed the "white" paint looked like crushed mothher of pearl or some kind of shell. there are also holes running the length of the mask on both sides (for what must have been fringe like I've seen on other masks). Anyone think this thing might really be that old, and how could I tell for shure? Tiki Bill [ Edited by: Tiki Bill 2007-07-19 11:19 ] |
