I know we are talking about people swiping mugs, hence this thread entitled "How should I handle mug thieves".

My point is that for anything you can get out to the masses with your establishment's name or logo on it is advertising. I only took pictures of those items because I was working on at the time getting them framed. Need I take pictures of the mugs I have from all the bars I have been to (which, incidentally I paid for all of them)?

Let me throw out another question in regard to "items for the taking". Is it stealing if someone comes in to your establishment and takes matches, napkins, swizzle sticks, etc. and does not buy anything?

Again, not condoning stealing...promoting the legitimate sale!
