Face it, it Bacardi select is similar to Lemon Hart.
I say ALMOST...
I tried them side by side and i can say it would be ok to substitute the Bacardi Select for Lemon Hart.
If you do not think so, then i think you may be biased.
Try them "neat" and you will see they are a similar.
I feel the lemon hart is less medicinal and quite smooth in the finish or aftertaste on the palate.
Please compare without bias.

Close in terms of a taste test. And yet, in the context of a full-bodied mixed drink, the unique qualities of each will be more apparent. I tried both side-by-side, and I agree with everything you stated. Except we rum drinkers aren't drinking our rums like we do Coco-Cola or Pepsi. Are even wine. We drink them in the context of many other flavors, acids, and sweeteners. The only really true taste test would be to make a drink such as a Demera Float using Bacardi Select instead of Demera. Personally, Lemon Hart is just too hard to come by to waste in a taste test of that magnitude - although I suppose I'll probably do just that. I like B. Select and I use it a lot, but I doubt I'll be giving up my Lemon Hart anytime soon. By the way, there is no comparison between Barcardi 151 and Lemon Hart 151. Wow. What a difference.
