While this is mostly true I have a few small places that help me get that Tiki fix. Mai's Cafe & Da Aloha Lounge 2815 E. Main St, Ventura This is a small restraint, not fancy but friendly. I love the drinks, fire place, and the mix of Hawaiian and Thai food. They also have frogs legs. One nice note is they cater for charity. A coworker's daughter died and they threw a Lu au to help with the bills. I still won't to get my union to use them. They are nice, nice people.
