Aloha all -

let me take out my ukulele and sing you the tragic tale of the Ku that leaked...

This KU began as a mighty hand-built mug by Henrik Van Ryzin of VanTiki Studio - a mug so pokey and mean looking that Henrik fell under its spell, and without thinking placed it on the drying rack incorrectly. NO! you say - yes, I must reply. The mug dried out un-evenly, and the bottom developed a hefty crack. Henrik tried to re-moisten, patch, and slow dry the mug for nearly a month to no avail - the crack kept returning. Henrik went ahead and glazed him, and is offering him up now on eBay at a low starting price of 50$. The Leaky Ku may not be able to hold his liquor, but it does look menacing and will guard your bar (and will happily hold any non-liquid items - ie: swizzle sticks, straws, etc.).

the dreaded crack:
