I don't think the decor change was too bad. I thought the sheets in the dining room actually updated the place in kind of an elegant way. Man... what's happening to me, I used to be such a purist... I especially enjoyed the projected surf movies onto the water fall and in the bar. Good to see my old band playing there too. They sounded great. Still haven't tried any of the drinks yet either. It was kinda weird, I mean, it was Sam's still but kinda not really. I'll be happy if the place sticks around for a long time like this. It feels revitalized.
