Even though LLT's paintings are stuffed full of tons of deatail, they probabaly still don't weigh very much.

Did an "Apocalypse Amoire Cabinet in 95 that weighed about 75 pounds/also did some closet doors that weighed a good 50! and don't get me started on this huge METAL monstrosity for the KOCE Butterfly Initiative....

That thing was way packed with detail and weighed a TON!
These Journey ones don't weigh very much-maybe 4-5 ponds max after all the coats of sealant and stuff...
(still cost a lil over a 100 bucks apiece to ship! Yikes!)

I'm glad you're all as stoked as I am about the Journey! The freehand can be a bit intimidating, but careful planning/studies help boost the confidence level...Brad is right about that immediate creative output right on the canvas-there's nothing like it! As for scale (that's a valid term....you scale an image in photoshop and i don't see no weight...GROG must be too busy working on his TikiDog mug  and "witty" responses on TC....
The size of the pieces are 3 by 3 feet-get a yardstick and you can see how big they is!
Brad-the rope is tied and secured....HANG ON for ARTRIDE 2007! Actually I'll need that extra weight to slow down a bit and get the TikiMagazine pieces done too! Zoinks!
