Hello TC'ers, If you live in Miami or West Palm Beach, please consider coming to a concert of orchestral exotica and Asian-inspired music on August 25 & 26, presented by Project Copernicus. My piece "L'Ours Chinois" ('The Chinese Bear') is first on the program, and will feature violinist Helen Liu (whom you may know from WAITIKI, as "Mistress Helenini") as its soloist. I was asked to orchestrate "L'Ours" for Project Copernicus, after their conductor (Chung Park) heard the original version on "Rendezvous in Okonkuluku" (the new WAITIKI release). I will be in the orchestra as well, as its double bassist. It is scored for 10 players and violin soloist. From the Land of the Buddha Saturday August 25 at 8:00 PM |
