Pollo Del Mar will be backing up El Vez next monday for an in-store
appearance at Amoeba Records on Haight Street. Music starts at 6PM-
Pollo will play a short warm up set, then El Vez will join us for a
set of his... well whatever it is that he does- it's hard to
describe. Rolling Stone said: "El Vez is more than an Elvis
Impersonator... he is an Elvis translator, a goodwill ambassador for
Latin culture."

We are looking for tiki related, car-culture, pop low-brow art to be
displayed and for sale from friday to sunday at the echo gallery for the
weekend of august 22-24. Please email early as we are trying to get a
head count on how many artists will be participating. There will be
mailings and press releases involved as the tiki weekender draws
closer.....
Derek will be happy to answer any and all questions regarding echo
gallery and the show.
