in light of todays technology, it should be relatively inexpensive to outfit all your mugs with an electronic chip and a detector at the front door, similiar to most department stores.....when the perp tries to smuggle a mug out the door, the alarm sounds, they shit their pants and then everyone in the bar gets to humiliate them!!!
