I got it by being at the right place at the right time. Luck? Karma? Who knows. But last week I was in the Columbus Dispatch in an article about the Kahiki by Joe Blundo. The writer of that article calls me up to give me the name of a guy who has some Kahiki items. He worked there from the start. So I call this guy and we start talking (he has no Kahiki stuff by the way) This guy was one of the people that made the lights, ashtrays, AND get this the lamps that were on the tables. I had just got back from a mold making place buying stuff to make THOSE lamps! Will meet with this guy in the next week. Then will know the rest of the story.
