As you can see from my past posts, I let some nobody get to me and once again forgot myself......I do it a lot. I'm kind of an ass.

Boy, I'll say! This is your way of letting it go, with a back-handed comment disguised as enlightenment? Tikiskip is a real cool guy, and has done a ton in the tiki community. If you'd venture beyond the creating tiki forum to read some of his posts, you'd see that as well.

Skip.........you're just making it worse. Please go play somewhere else. The sad thing here is that you don't even think you've insulted anyone.

I also see no sign of Skip diss'in you or anyone else, he's simply asking a question about the items that were offered by a couple of his favorite artists, since otherwise he would have had to fly out from Ohio to see these items. Listen to Kick The Reverb's reply, there's a lot of truth and inner wisdom in it.

To hear you bash on Skip, Crazy Al, Bosko, and Tiki Diablo is beyond intolerable. Maybe no one else here wants to say anything about it, but I will. And it's not just about their carvings, and other art that they create. Although some may elevate them on pedestal to deity size, they are actually humble, approachable guys that you can hang out and have a drink with at a party or event, and shoot the shit. And they always seem open to sharing their knowledge to others, artists or otherwise, about new techniques, recent finds, etc. In fact, Nacho was towing his Kubar home after Oasis this past Monday, when his transmission blew out. Tiki Diablo was the first guy calling transmission shops all over the Los Angeles area, and is currently letting Nacho and his buddy crash over at his place while the truck is in the shop.

Those guys have been here from the beginning. You've been here, what, 2 months now, and are starting flame wars? I think it's great that you have found something that you are impassioned about, but please, save the bashing and backhanded comments for another place.

Oh, and no, I'm not a traveller!

Now You're pissing me off by saying I bashed people I didn't bash.

What, the rest of us are boring old jack-offs who turn out splinterey messes? Out of all of the tikis being chopped, sold, pimped, burned, stained, and changing hands this passed weekend(legally or illegally!), why are Bosko, Diablo and Crazy Al the only ones you care about? Broaden your horizons, man.......there were a LOT of AMAZING choppers at Oasis this year, so don't get stuck on Celeb carvers.

No, the sad thing is watching a bunch of grown men piss themselves over carvers like a bunch of little girls at an NSync concert. Saying that one carver is better than the other is like saying that grape is better than strawberry........it's all opinion. You wanna be a little carver groupie, you go ahead.

Maybe those will jogg your memory.

Why don't you take some of your own advice, and do the same? Here's a great place to start. And might I add, way to make friends on only your second month here, dude.

There, now I'm done. Mai Tai out!!! Peace!
