Wow Buzzy. While I do see Bill's point, I'd be pretty excited to participate.

I would want to do flyers about us, and who we are. Point out that we're carvers, that we usually do more poly pop, but that we do respect the roots of pacific islanders and carvers, and that we love to share what we do so that people can experience it as they desire.

I know I'm not stating this well, but this is some of the reason that I'd like to formalize the group some, come up with a name, and somewhat of a mission statement.

One of the most enjoyable things I did over the weekend is encourage an employee of the hotel to go to Rockler and to start doing some woodworking. If I could encourage people to become interested in the carvings of their ancestors and try it themselves, it would make me very happy.
