I would rather take this risk than have to hunt like hell to try and find my f**kin' mugs. The USPS also delivers on Saturday, a day when many working people are actually at home, and there is a PO in nearly ever town to go pick up a missed package. My local FedEx is about 40 miles away, not convenient for an optional pick up.
