Miles, about that Daytonas LP, if I remember right, it's about half car-girl-surf vocals and half instro, and on swirly blue vinyl. I'm a sucker for that kinda stuff. I really dig a song on there called Sound Barrier. Sorta Nordic surf sound, like Husky & the Sandmen and the Langhorns. Klas, how's the music scene up in Sweden these days? Supposedly "Robert Johnson & the Punchdrunks" are pretty good surfy Swedes too, but I haven't heard much of theirs. (sorry all, if this is OT for this thread) |
