I meant no offense to the Caliente Tropics, but I think there are greater examples of MCM out there. Except for the porte cochere, the architecture is standard 60's motel. But it's a cool standard 60's motel!

I stayed at the Caliente Tropics 17 years ago, long before Tiki was hip. I'm glad it's doing so well now. It was something of a dump then.
