My name is Chuck Nickerson, 53, living in Encino, a suburb of Los Angeles. My interest in tiki started with reading the obituary for Martin Denny. Now I casually collect tiki material. As a hobbiest woodworker I'm preparing to craft tiki as well. As a reader I'm also assembling a fair library. The level of skill demonstrated by the artisans here is inspiring and intimidating. I'm looking forward to having something to contribute. |
