If they didn't PM him, then it probably wasn't a thought in their head at the time. So, now they made it. Why didn't anyone feel it was good enough to win the contest, but its good enough to come out probably before the contest mugs.

You know, there's therapy for this kind of thinking.

There are also institutions if the therapy doesn't work.
