I did something like this a few months ago. While it was worth it at the time, I did get a cold, which wasn't too bad, but then the cough hung on for a loong time (8 weeks). In hind sight, I wish I'd found a way to build a little more cushioning into my schedule (still not sure how, though). Is there anyway you can get someone to cover for you or trade with you or reschedule one of your performances? I know sometimes none of this is possible, but thought I'd throw it out in case you hadn't thought of it. It was great meeting you at Hinky Drinks! All the best with your tough decision.
