I was an ebay novice that got sniped big time but I agree IF I ever bid again, I'll take your's and my wife's advice and set my max at what I am willing to spend and leave it to fate whether I get the item or not. Besides, I would rather be drinking and enjoying my time instead of staring at the ebay timer count down while the bidding goes crazy. Thank you for your 2 cents.
