What would you like to see at a TIKI event that you haven't seen yet ? - General Tiki

Im kinda burnt out on Raffles.... HOW about receiving a prize for something that requires effort or skill? Costume contests are great but in reality we are sorta ALL dressed up in costume... and the activities we give prizes for sound like stuff they plan at the senior home... Most of us arent 20 year olds but heck we arent exactly dead yet either.... Raffles are a real grey area for me... who is benefitting from the proceeds of the raffle? What skill is involved other than throwing a whole bunch of money at raffle tickets and hoping you win? If we are having a raffle to donate to a charity I suppose thats worthy but if its a raffle to help defer the costs of an event then the ticket costs should be raised until they cover it....
