Well, Tikilale, I think I mean at a prime location, with quality staff providing memorable service, with crave-able world-class food, in an exciting yet comfortable atmosphere where prices are at a level that people will accept, you can do great volume in a bar/restaurant.

I believe that this can be accomplished with different themes, tiki being one of them.

I happen to own twelve, high volume bar/restaurants in the Midwest. We've been in business since 1978. I can't say that we accomplish the above description,(world-class food? we're a good bit short of that), but it's what we strive for and we are the volume leader in just about every market we're in.

When the time is right for my company, I'll do a Pacific Rim restaurant with a tiki bar and I believe it WILL ROCK!

I admit we will not open a restaurant in a tourist town like LV. My pockets are not that deep. But the principle still applies.
