Seasoned greetings, y'all. Looking forward (and checking over my shoulder) to getting to know tiki devotees. I grew up in an inland California town where every other apartment complex was called Bali Hai, Shangri-La, The Tropics, etc., and there were restaurants called The Leilani, the Luau, the Reef, etc. Now wed to a gent who never heard of tiki and is mystified by the allure. Yes, Ms. Carmine's got to get her tiki fix elsewhere... |
