So, do you live in the San Francisco area, and are bummed because the large Covarrubias maps of the Pacific, originally on view on nearby Treasure Island, are currently being displayed in Mexico? Don't feel bad, as you have the opportunity to go to the DeYoung museum (through Jan 20) and view the following map of the Pacific Islands, made entirely of SPAM luncheon meat.
(full size is 4 feet by 3 feet) Miguel would be proud.
