The building in this image was based on the Tiki Kai in Lawndale (which is now a Pizza Hut). It was probably taken from the postcard, which you can see in this thread:

The shield-sign looks like it was based on the sign from the Kapu Kai in Cucamonga.

I've got the shirt and like it a lot. I may have to get a print.
