Trader Vic container ? - Collecting Tiki

We just picked up what appears to be a Trader Vic's container of some sort, does any one know what this is for? We think its for soy sauce or sake but your guess is good as ours. One other thing, the only marking is the Trader Vic's logo "Tiki" I haven't seen anything from them that wasn't marked on/in the ceramic with the words Trader Vic.
