There isn't 1 person here at TC who toots the trumpet for every find they've happend to come across, whether it be tiki mugs or tiki bars,

Um, I have TRIED to (the bars at least, be they good ones or not-so good ones), and maybe Humuhumu has too (Critiki)?

Ahhh....Well I tried to word that right, but it didn't quite come out the way I had expected......What I meant to express, is that, Yes, people like yourself, Sven, and Duke among many other writers may publish their finds, educate and share with us one and all, BUT there are still things that may have been reserved, whether it be in a personal collection or just a location that parallels tiki lifestyle. I also didn't mean it as a whole either. I know writers/publishers contribute their findings within their defined topic, but what about the mugs, exotica records, or any other closely related items discovered within the realm of tikiness? I believe that was the point I was originally trying to convey  . I do appologize for any confusion, and I must say I am very aware and grateful for alot of the TC members and/or Tiki/Exotica elders who have researched and been educators to the masses here and abroad. Fact is I guess, we all just don't have the time to post every bit of our tiki discoveries here, IMHO of course! :P

As a side note,
Psycho Tiki D made a pretty valid point as well:

The ONLY reason I do is to share information. I'm sorry but impressing or pissing people off is not the reason I became a member of this site, I came here to learn and share ideas. I always like seeing what people have found. I like sharing what I have found, not as an "in your face, nah nah nah nah nah" gloat, but in a "hey, look what is out there, have you seen this before" inquiry.

THIS IS THE WAY IT SHOULD BE HANDLED, yet I see more gloating and show offs, as if everyone is trying to out do everyone elses collections...I mean give it a rest already...I for one dont care what anyone else here on TC has. I thought Tiki Finds was about vintage, but newly discovered "first time" seen merchandise from the ol tiki watering hole? Not for someone to post they found a Mr. Bali Hai mug at Salvation Army for 50 cents...I mean c'mon who really gives a shit? There are "Thousands" of Mr. Bali Hai mugs out there, and it would seem that it is in EVERYONES collection here at TC...That doesn't mean we need to see it for the thousandth time posted! now if it was an original "severed head" mug, Frankoma mug, or even something completely off the wall never seen before, well that is a little different story!
Edited because I've been a spelling tard lately!
