I think the management knew exactly what they wanted: another Vegas ultra lounge with some minor "tiki" accents and the Trader Vic's drinks, food and name. They probably saw the recent closings of tiki bars in Vegas and decided that visitors didn't want a tropical oasis, they wanted another ultra lounge. The problem is that it's location, name and "newness" factor will probably make it intially successful, until the new "latest thing" opens and everyone moves on.
