In the mid-90s I used to live in Illinois, and would drive East a few times a year to visit family. My midway dinner stop was usually Columbus Ohio - and this is how I first discovered the Kahiki, which forever changed my life. I've since explored the venues in the Chicago and Bay areas in my travels and have been a Tiki News subscriber for some time. I am currently languishing in most un-exotic Connecticut, where even the nearest quasi-tiki Chinese restaurant is still one state's drive away. Hence the need for a larger virtual community!
