Richard Braughtigan (I probably misspelled his name) wrote the novel "In Watermellon Sugar" 30 some years ago. A real hippy fantasy/eutopia thing that was a fun read long ago. He also wrote "Trout Fishing in America" with similar themes. The author, unfortunately, became depressed and commtitted suicide a few years ago.
