I just stayed at the Best Western Twin Palms on Shelter Island in San Diego. The whole area is kinda 50's not to mention the Bali Hai restraunt is right down the street for dinner. Really cool Hotel and "somewhat" reasonable. The whole place has probably not changed since it was built in the 50's. Perfect for a weekend get away. Just take the 5 to Rosecrans to Shelter Island drive. Enjoy! |
