Just got the second issue of the Sauce Guide to Cocktails and had to mention it here as it's the 'Cat's nads'.

It's actually a very thick, magazine, though lacking in ads, yet contains vast numbers of cocktail recipes (1,100) in an easy to read/understand style. Also it manages to explain the basics while also giving the pro's some good advice, which is tricky to pull off. Along with the classic Trader Vic's Bartenders guide and the Grog Log, this is really all you need.

See http://sauceguide.com for more details.
It's British, but you can have it sent to North America.

It also points out that to try a genuine Mai Tai you should head to Trader Vic's, so kudos for that....
