I didn't mean to open a can of worms. As for supporting the artists on the T.C forums ....

"There is an entire wealth of tiki artists and artisans here on t.c. that would love your support (and money)...."

.... I'm quite proud of my fantastic Lake Tiki carving and would love to have more of the fantastic pieces he offers at Hala Kahiki, or great works by other artists I'm discovering. The sad truth is retail management doesn't pay much, and it's a lot easier to spend $5 and get a little amusement for myself from time to time. That being said, my collection does have some nice pieces.

Again, sorry for opening the Walgreens/Kahiki can of worms
